My custody case was opened in San Diego county where my duaghter used to live wit her mother. I was awarded custody last Aug and would like the custody case be transfered to Los Angeles where she lives with me now. Is it possible to transfer the case without having to goto San Diego again ?

You need the court to move your case from where it is currently pending. To do this, you file a motion to change venue in San Diego county.
