Question

I am a teacher falsely accused of battery against a student, what are my rights?

Answer

You have the right to be presumed innocent at all stages of the criminal prosecution. You have the right to an attorney. You have the right to a trial and to see and confront the evidence against you. You have the right to testify or to remain silent.

You seriously should find yourself an attorney to represent you. If you can't afford an attorney then you may be eligible for a public defender, but you should try to retain private counsel.
