Question

My Ex wife filed a maotion in July 2006 to terminate child support due to all my children reaching legal age. In june I recieved a summons to appear for an administrative hearing from the DHS in Okla, in which she is trying to collect interest on back child support is this legal since the State has recooped all their money?

Answer

If you were paid up on all child support as of July 2006 then it is not legal. If however, you owed past due child support then you still owe the past due amounts. I suggest you get an attorney as the cost of getting one will likely be much less than getting stuck paying child support you do not owe.
