What does boheniam rhaspody mean?

What does boheniam rhaspody mean?
basically, my idea of it is that the man in the story has killed someone (possibly himself, according to some interpretations) accidentally and now regrets this mistake in a letter to his mother, possibly real or possibly theoretical, and proceeds to meet the devil who attempts to buy his soul from him, which causes a great deal of tension and anger to build up within him, leading to the conclusion where he has apparently failed to defeat the devil, and he ultimately decides that nothing in life really matters anyway
