can my boss make me going to work when it comes to my daughter being sick or when my car bracks down or when something is going wrong dose he or dont he has to cover for me or any of the employs and can he right me up or frier me when i am late from taking care of my daughter of other famliy issu's

Iowa is a right to work state and that means unless you have a collective bargaining agreement or a contract of employment you can be terminated for any reason good reason or no reason at all. Your remedy if you don't like the conditions is to sever the relationship.
