Do HD DVDs play on regular tv?
The better question would be - Do HD DVD's play on regular DVD players? The answer is yes.
But consider this. Can you play watch a color movie on a black and white tv? Sure, but you'll only see it in black and white. The same is true of the HD DVD's. It's not whether or not they will play, it's whether or not the monitor can produce the proper output. To which the answer is 'No'.
