How does the 03 vw beetle drivers door wire harness get removed?
Remove the driver's kick panel. There is a plastic screw with a cap behind the hood release lever. Pry off the cap with your fingernails and use a slotted screwdriver to back out the plastic screw. The fitting the screw sits in will then lift out.Pry up the driver's kick panel starting from the lower door edge. There will be three connectors visible, brown, blue and black. Unplug all three. Follow the wiring harness up toward the door hinge area. There is a plastic filler panel on the kick panel body side that is held in loosely by clips. The wiring harness threads through the hole the filler panel covers. Remove the panel.Once you've done that you can remove the body side rubber boot and gently thread the wiring harness out of the kick panel area.
