Hello, I was recently pulled over by Fairfax County police for having something hanging from my rear view mirror . The officer obviously smelled my beer breath as I rolled down the car window as I I had just consumed 3 beers (and buffallo wings) over a 1-1/2 hour periodI. I was given a sobriety test, was told to get back in my car, drove away with a reckless driving charge hanging over my head. I have a perfect driving record. Adjudicatory Hearing scheduled for 06/13/11. Confused, scared, no money for attorney. Please advise as to what I should expect. Thank you very much!

Under no circumstances should you plead guilty to reckless driving, not a mere traffic infraction but a Class 1 criminal misdemeanor offense in the Commonwealth.
