Question

My grandfather passed away in 2010 and the origninal will was possibly destroyed by his son but i have a copy of it and it names me as the executor, now my grandfather has 4 grown children who arent mentioned in the will. can this copy be used as the original and does his children have a say so with regards to the contents of the will.

Answer

Depending on the situation you may be able to admit the copy to probate. I suggest that you retain an Attorney to protect your rights. Call my office to set up an appointment.
