What can I do about a finance company harassing me about a loan that I didn't take out? A loan taken out by someone I don't know who used my telephone number as there own. I told the finance people that I don't know this person and they say they will take my number off the list but they keep calling day & night. I'm tired of it. I guess that person got my number out of the phone book..
Answer
Send a certified letter demanding that they stop or you will hire an attorney. If they do not stop find an attorney.
