Do Caribbean people eat differently from Americans?
The Caribbean is a very diverse place. Caribbean people probably eat more rice and chicken than the average American, but beyond that it is difficult to make general observations. For example, people in the USVI and Puerto Rico eat very similar diets to Americans, because they are Americans. People in Martinique eat a much more French Creole diet. A great many people in Haiti pretty much live on UN food handouts.
