Question

I live in Texas and have joint custody, but my ex is the primary and lives in the school district where my children attend school. I have filed paper to modify that would make me the primary. I do not live in that school district. Will my children have to change school just because I am primary and can establish their residence?

Answer

This is a question you should ask the school district. The answer is probably "yes."
