Also, make sure your computer is defragmented, this will compress everything and make your running speed faster, it usually helps to do this on a regular basis, i.e. Once a month.
To increase the download speed by a large number, Make sure your internet connection is powerful and strong, if you use a dial up connection.. this will take remarkably longer.
