Who was the first looney toon?
Bosko was Looney Tunes' first major lead character, starring in the 1929 short Bosko, The Talk-Ink Kid. The first Looney Tunes short was Sinkin' in the Bathtub, released in 1930 and starring Bosko. It is common misconception that Porky Pig is the first Looney Tunes star, but he didn't actually come around until 1935 after producers Harmon and Ising parted with Warner Bros. in 1933. Porky Pig was created by animators in the Termite Terrace studio (a part of Warner Bros.).
