How fast can a Car accelerate without causing discomfort E.g. 0-100 in 4Sec?
The worlds fastest accelerating car is the Bugatti Veyron which can do a 0-100km/h in about 2.5 seconds, this is comparable to acceleration for many super bikes. This works out as an average acceleration of 11.1 m/s2, which is is the equivalent to 1.1g's slightly more than the acceleration you would experience by jumping off of an object.
Most people find acceleration an exhilarating experience and enjoy it immensely unless the acceleration is very jerky. To get an uncomfortable acceleration would require a several g's 3 or 4. To do that you either need to get a drag car, get catapult launched of an aircraft carrier, find yourself a seat on the space shuttle or crash into a solid wall at speed. The latter is not recommended
