If you want to pierce your tongue but your skin is senstive to some metals what would you use on your tongue to prevent irritation and infection?
316l or 316lvm Surgical grade stainless steel and then you can switch it out to PTFE (teflon) or acrylic or even glass if you think you can be careful enough after it heals.
