You drive a 5 speed and when you switch gears fast and give it gas your car bogs down?

You drive a 5 speed and when you switch gears fast and give it gas your car bogs down?
A few possibilities are;1. The engine does not have enough power to pull the load in the gear that you are in (shift to a lower gear will help or eliminate the problem).2. The engine is being shifted at to low of an rpm.3. The engine has some power problems (fuel system problems, ignition problems, ect)
