1993 Mazda Protege you have just started has intermittent stalling issues with the car sounds as if it is not getting gas then it sits after about 10 mins and fires up It stalled on after stopping?
I have a '93 Protege DX that was having this same problem. I found that if you pull the top off the airbox and clean the sensor inside the problem goes away. Also make sure that the airbox and all lines coming from it are secure and have no leaks.
