Two friends and I want to move into a new apartment. Do all three of us have to sign the lease? If so do they have to run credit checks on all of us and can the leasing office raise the rent amount if all of us are on the lease and dont have good credit?

If only one of you sign the lease, that person will be soley responsible for the payment of the apartment. So, if you let the two friends move in without signing the lease, they can move out leaving you with the full amount to pay. Think this through my friend, because when it comes to money, you have no friends.
