Why do British people think you drive on the right side of the road when the first to invent cars was the Americans?
We do drive on the right side of the rode.Also, the motor car was NOT invented by the US- no one nation 'invented' the car, it evolved over the decades from a series of technical developments carried out right across the world. The first production car was introduced in Germany by Benz; in comparison to Britain and continental Europe, the USA was slow to adopt the motor car or to adapt to motorised road transport.
