No better engine was ever built then a Chevrolet small block 400. It had milled heads, factory headers, and in most instances was used in the Pontiac Firebird. It could lift the front wheels 18 inches into the air. (I know, I was with my friend when he received numerous tickets in high-school for this. The fastest that we ever took his was a blistering 155 mph on the turnpike, ( before we got a ticket and spent the night in jail). A 1969 Pontiac Firbird with a small block motor should be on everyenthusiasts with list.
