i have a patent infringement case against a defendent. The case is awaiting 9th circuit decision. Defendant has lied and has played delaying tactics to financially hurt me . I can easily prove all this . As a result , my personal life is a mess , can not sleep, do my work , i am full of hatred , in short , he has ruined my life . Can i file a lawsuit against him for doing this to me aside from the original lawsuit which is based only on patent infringement ? thank you , Robert

No, you can never sue someone for defending a lawsuit pretty much any way they can. Your only remedy is sanctions in the case that's already pending, if there has been misconduct in that case.
