Question

I quit my job and my former employer owes me wages for 13 days worth of work. He claims that he doesn't owe it to me because of the employment agreement that was signed on my first day of work. It has a clause in it that says that if I quit with no notice that he can withhold any unpaid wages.

The entire reason that I quit on the spot was because of degrading and disrespectful behavior he had towards me. I don't feel it's right to have to put up with that from an employer and I walked. Now he is refusing to pay me for the time that I worked and hadn't yet been reimbursed for. Please advise.

Thank you.
