My son recently had to change from private school to public school, due to dad not being able to afford it anymore. I still owe them money, they will not release his transcripts until it is paid. My son will have to take freshmen year over again because of my wrongful doing , I'm willing to make payments. Is there anything that can be done so my son can move on to sophomore year . Thank you for your time

Unfortunartely the private school as the right to do this. You need to see if you can work out a payment plan. Otherwise, your only option would be to file bankruptcy, discharge the debt and get the transcript that way
