Question

If an orthopedic surgeon has an insurance policy with a $250,000 limit and a $750,000 aggregate, yet lives in a 3 million dollar house, is the most you can sue him for $250,000?

Answer

The most an individual can get from his insurance is $250,000. His house has nothing to do with insurance. By the way if he lives in the house, then it cannot be attacked to collect any judgment either.
